I am new to this site but not to riding. I have been riding for about 35 years...yeah I'm old. My first race bike was a RM100, '78. I thought that thing was a rocket. A year later, after wearing it out completely. I talked my dad into getting me a RM400. Now that thing was a rocket...no thinking about it. I was 14 135lbs talk about a handful. That bike lasted me till I was able to spend my own money on a new one. An Rm500 was next in line. It was an '83 4 speed. It was mean but I hated the 4 speed. In 1986 I started buying GREEN, not the green everyone is talking about now, I mean KAW. KX500...loved it in every way. Today I race a kx500AF that I built, and a KX450f. Both are 2007's and that is where it ends...The KX500Af WILL eat it up! ....Thanks for enduring the long read. JFAB
