I have a bad habit of bending the crap out of my rear brake lever.

Do any of you have an aftermarket lever that isn't made out of recycled Yugo's?

Even with the retaining cable I installed I still manage to tweek it when riding thru tight woods. Those rocks and stumps just keep reaching out and smakin it.

I don't have this problem ,but one of the guys I ride with has bent his a couple of times. Take a cresent wrench and bend it in untill it almost
touches the frame, I think this will help..Once you bende'm a couple times
they probably bend easier the next.. just my 2 cents at least someone
replied hahha..

I was just wondering if you can make a brake lever stronger by heat treating it in some way. ie taking to it with an oxy torch.
just a thought
