[QUOTE="MN KDXer, post: 33896, member: 16126"] Woodsrider- Your reply couldn't have been more timely; I was just about to post an update. You are right on the money about the Quack-a-practor. I originally went to him for some rehab advice last fall, which most of his advice was good, but then I got sucked into "treatments". Grrrr.... In his defensive, the guy is fairly knowledgeable about sports injuries to a certain degree, but he is far from an expert. All along, his opinion was that I only had a class 1 or 2 separation. If that were so, physical rehab would probably be the answer. However, I went to an orthopedict specialist last week. He took one look at me and says, "I see you have a problem with your right shoulder!" He gave a quick yankety-yankety exam and told me I had at least a class 3 separation, which means the ligaments are all torn, and surgery is the only thing that will ever hook the connections back together. He did say that I could live OK w/o surgery and didn't really try to push surgery too much. So, with that, I took the soonest available surgery time, and was in surgery this past Tues, (2/29) and am now at home recovering. I'm not sure what was worse, surgery or the actual injury. Let's hope the recovery time is short. We are having record temps up here, and guys are already riding the gravel tracks. btw, my today's opinion of C-practors- they're are probably good guys to teach you how to stretch out.... your wallet.
