An interesting little story told by our own MX547, sorry buddy I couldn't resist.

early 90's, i was racing one of the arenacrosses in the ipe building. they wouldn't let us start our bikes inside the building so we would go out on the loading dock to warm them up. the loading dock was about three or four feet higher than the parking lot. i kicked my leg up over my bike, caught my foot on the seat and lost my balance. i put my foot back down but i had to let go of my bike. it fell off the dock onto the parking below. it landed perfectly upside down on the bars and seat, then rolled over. it scratched it up a little but didn't bend or break anything. it was quite humiliating. everybody on the dock saw it, no one said a word about it. they must have had pity on me.

The real question is who would admit to doing something like that.;)
