TTR230 key kit

Hi there.

Has anyone every put a keyed ignition kit on their TTR230 or TTR225?


I'm looking at converting my TTR230 2007 to dual sport and I'd need a key kit.


Has anyone done this before?

I’m late to the party but maybe this answer will help someone in future, I have a 2005 ttr230 and I wanted to put a keyed ignition, most people who have done it have used a Baja kit with their key and it required you too leave the push on/off button with the key, well Baja doesn’t make that kit anymore so after lots of research I came up with the idea to order a ttr125 keyed ignition and just used that, the harness that plugs in will be a little wider than what’s on ttr230 but just use an oscillator tool and cut it down to same size as harness plug and it will plug right in and work like a charm, basically plug and play with minor modification to make your 230 have a key, so boom, hopefully this helps someone.
