Two Stroke 250 E or a Yamaha yzf250

Hey all i own a tm250e and had the intention of racing hareandhounds and enduros.Unfortunately however i do noy have the time currently and am looking for a bike that would be a great allrounder motox,field,woods,pdd race etc, i am a beginner rider at heart but am well able to handle a 250.Is the 250f a better buy?

I own an '03 KDX200 and was happy with it until I rode a YZ250F...

That bike may be a motocrosser, but I think the YZ250F would make you happy in any kind of riding situation. I got to spend about 30 minutes on one and I haven't looked at my KDX the same since. I had the YZ on a MX track and in some wooded trails, and I had a blast on both.

It's hard to imagine you going wrong with the YZ250F, IMO.

hell no you cant go wrong with that bike i have owned one for three years and have never had a problem with it. its got the power you need in any rpm it has. its a smooth riding bike and i love it.

Maybe you could check out the KTM 200MXC. Right between the 250 2stroke and 250 4stroke power wise. Its got 4 stroke like power delivery and can be used for MX or woods or whatever else you want.

Get the KTM....only if you want to spend another grand on perfecting the suspension. KTM's are missing something....wait I know....it's linkage!

I am now thinking a ktmsx400 as i am finding it very hard to get a yzf iun my price range in good condt> What you all think?
