I just read that particular model is a motocross bike. If you are riding trails, you want the EXC. I know a few guys with KTMs (450 and 530 EXC models) that rave about them. A guy at work has a 530 EXC with over 120 hours and it has only had the valves shimmed. He had a 525 KTM before that that ran 250 hours before a rebuild. That same guy's son rides a KTM 250 SX (2 stroke) with over 100 hours and the original top end. I am starting to believe that KTM is the way to go
