05 KX250 spark plug, BR8ECMVX vs. BR8EVX

The bike comes stock with the expensive ECMVX plug.. My dealer doesn't carry them, the parts guy says guys are just replacing them with a cheap BR8EG. I want to pick up a spare plug tomorrow before I head out camping for the weekend, can anyone tell me why I shouldn't use a cheap BR8EG/ES/EVX plug as a spare? I don't know what's so special about the stock one, other than the price tag... :yikes:

KTM used (maybe still using) the BR8ECM for some time. It is shorter in height, for clearance, and accepts an o-ring for keeping the dirt away from the spark plug hole. The other plugs you mention will work fine.

Ive been using BR8EIX in my 05 for months now.They work great.Cost is around $9.
