1994 Kx250

I just picked up this KX250. A friend of mine and I put the top end together with new gaskets. we went out riding the other day and ran through alot of water. my air cleaner has no housing and all it has is a foam filter. when i checked my oil after the ride it was milkshake like. when i checked the level in my rad it was still full. to the top where it was when i filled it. any help will be great. :bang:

Sounds like your water pump seal might be leaking just a bit.

could there be a missing vent tube, letting the gear box suck in water when it hits the cold water?

I also own a 1994 kx. The frames on the 1994s are know for cracking. Inspect the welds around the foot pegs. Mine came very close to breaking before I had it repaired.

Where do i check for the vent tube and where do i check for cracks?

look for the vent tube behind the kickstarter housing, on top of the gear housing. if its there, it will be black w/ goo. the other vents are mostly clean.
