1999 Xr200r?

I recently found a 1999 XR200R for sale in my area. The guy that is selling it said it is like brand new, ridden by his wife with only around 15-20 hours on it. It has a fairly new rear tire and is in excellent shape. The guy wants $2500 canadian for it, which is a pretty good deal if it is like brand new, considering a new one goes for $3800. I going out to look at it on Saturday. What do you guys think? Also, does it have a lighting coil?

I'd say it's a REALLY good deal considering I sold my old 1990 XR 200 for around $1500 two years ago. Go for it! They're great bikes!

Does anybody know if late model XR200Rs have a lighting coil? This is a canadian model.

Yes, they still have lighting coils. I'm pretty sure the Canadian model is no different.
