Hey i bought a used 2001 ktm 400 exc a few weeks back. The bike ran well but leaked a little gas upon starting. No issues until the last time i rode it for a solid 2 hours the bike died out on me. Now the kickstarter is completely stuck in place at the top, and the clutch has no pressure to it. Can anybody point me in a direction on where to start? I can feel the cluth shifting but the clutch doesnt even engage.

From where, the vent tubes? Did it stop after a time, was it still leaking after the ride?

kickstarter is completely stuck in place at the top
Did it seize when it "died-out"?

and the clutch has no pressure to it
You mean at the lever?

That sounds like three unrelated problems to me? Then again, I'm not one of the smart kids. Someone will be along shortly with a better reply.

It sounds like something broke in the trans or clutch. Drain the trans oil and pull the clutch cover off to do a quick inspection. It will give you a basic view of the involved parts without having to do any major disassembly.
