94 YZ250 Barrel fit a 93 YZ250????

Hey people my brother just bought himself a project bike that the con rod broke at the small end and it needs a new top end and con rod and we have the chance of a full top end from a 1994 YZ250 but we are unsure wether this would fit a 1993 YZ250

if anyone could help that would be great thanks

I remember some frankensteins out there putting the 94 jug on the 95, along with the GYT long rod kit, but not sure about the interchangeability betwixt the 93 and 94.

if the 94 jug is coming with a good powervalve it should fit perfectly on a 93 bike
