i am looking into buying a 03 or 04 125sx. i am undecided on which year i should get, i can get a 03 for over a thousand dollars cheaper than the 04 but i read that the 04's suspension is so much better than the 03's, is this true? also, i weigh between 170-175lbs, will i have problems with bottoming?

The 04 is a better bike, but the suspension is not good on either one, technically the 04 does feel better. None the less Its a joke to call the 04 good. However the bright side is that the either one can be made to work very well.. The 03 has spring rates that are fine for you, on the 04 you'll need a shock spring as the straight rate is not a good option..
