I'm about to clean my carb and fuel line system and it will be my first time doing so. Any tips on what to do, use, or lookout for. Thanks.

I have used WD40 before, it worked well. The best stuff to use, however, is plain old carberateur cleaner, the type in a spray can. Blast all of the jets, in all the little crevasses you can find. After wards, blow it out good with some compressed air if available. Look for goop in the carb bowl, under cap, on slider, and in the jets. Good luck! ;)

were safety glasses also, carb cleaner will almost make you wet your pants if it gets in your eyes.

Yeah a real good idea to pop the float assembly out c/w the float needle which will have a rubbery seal that cleaner may harm.

In fact I usually just blow through with compressed air (or in a pinch a piece of tube & blow real hard) unless certain & then use cleaner. Helps to remove any jets you can so you can see through them.
