I also got good deal on 1996 CR125.I only paid $450 for it and I paid for it myself(I am only 14).The guy that had it before me wrecked it and broke his ankle so he really wanted to get rid of it.I did have to replace a couple of things like fork seals, exhaust gasket, grips, handlebars, etc. If I ever get a camera I will post a pic. BTW it has all black plastic.

a bike that old will go for somewhere around $1500......i've always found that around this price is where good bikes will end up at when they get old enough.

Actually I bought a CR133 for $2100 Canadian which is about 1850 american. I think the reason the guy priced it so high is because he had a full top and bottom rebuild and a big bore kit. Also the bike was in unbelievably good shape.

I have a 1987 Suzuki RM80 that I bought off of **** for a project bike. I got it for $275, and it ran when i bought it, but there is a bunch of bearings and stuff i have to replace. Right now I have about $450 into it, and i cant wait until if it is finished. All I have to do now is paint the frame, do a topend, get grips, a throttle cable, plastics, and this sucker will look better than brand new.

It all depends on where you live. My buddy just sold his 96 RM125 for 2600 and all it had was a fatty pipe, shorty silencer and some new plastic. Then he bought a 2000 KX250 for 3500. We're up in Canada you guys down in the states are lucky for what you pay for dirtbikes.
