Anyone that takes off-road riding seriously must know that LR and PK have done a GREAT job on their first Dakar Rally. To finish in the top 20, no less finish AT ALL, is an incredible feat. My heart goes out to Scott Harden, who broke his leg while in 9th place overall.
The KTM USA team should be recognized and honored by the entire DRN membership. Speed Channel and host, Toby Moody should also take a bow for great coverage of the rally.
Larry Roeseler, "It was like doing the Baja 500 everyday for 17 days". (That's HIS opinion, can you imagine what it's like for NORMAL humans?)

I agree, truly amazing. What those guys went through has to make the 6 Days look like a 2 hr hare scramble! I hope they go back and improve their finish next year.

Like you said, a top 20 finish their first time out is incredible and shows what truly great all around riders these guys are. And Roeseler just celebrated birthday # 46!
