Does the 04 PDS shock have a bladder?

They use what is called a seperator piston. It seperates the oil from the nitrogen but unlike a shock shaft piston it is solid with a teflon band around it to ensure the oil and nitrogen are totally sealed from one another. The 04 shocks still use the seperator piston , no bladder.

The inside of a shock which has a bladder(ie your cr shock for example) is fairly rough and not uniform, so a separator piston cannot be fitted.Interesting question-its normally the talk of some forums about the pds running a bladder-debates rage on for months on the performance of a bladder pds shock vs piston shock-most people associate the better performace of the shock to the bladder-even though it was also often revalved , resprung and with fresh oil etc.
