Electrical problem (sort of)

The mount that holds the "pick up" that runs on the outside of the flywheel broke the other day and of course the bike died...no spark. OK wierd failure but then I got to thinking how in the world could the mount break, so I checked the flywheel for movement. Here is where I need opinions...there is a very tiny amount of play in and out but none up and down. I have never really seen any in/out play before(not really looking for it). Do I need to replace the mains????

this would be very difficult to give you a good guess on it because I cant see it. If it where my bike and it did not vibrate bad when running or there is no up and down movement I wouldnt worry about it but just keep remebering to check it every once in awhile. If the bike vibrates or you get the up and down movement then you will need them ASAP.
