How do i find my IP number? I would like to play a game over the internet but I need my IP number.

start> run> in the box type winipcfg. Your ip should be displayed

It says my ip address is 0.0.0.0 Is that right?

Never mind I think I figured it out. :)

Winipcfg for Windows 95/98/ME

ipconfig for NT/2000/XP

winipcfg...if it it says that it's 0.0.0.0, press renew

Make sure you have the correct "adapter" selected from the pull down list. The default adapter is a PPP adapter, and if your on highspeed, this is the wrong one. Select your NIC, network card or whatever else your machine calls it.
