May not help, but I had an 86 KX500 wheel, and I use it on my 2000 KX250 for sand riding (paddle). I had to grind down a spacer on one side, but it works great. The biggest thing as far as I could tell, is that the distance from the hub to the brake disc needs to be the same. For this reason, my (1990) KDX200 rear wheel will not fit on my KX250.
