kx250f 2005 help please

i really want to buy this bike but i keep reading bad words about the 2004 model and some on the 2005. im based in the uk so didnt know if our bikes were differant from yours. i have my heart set on buying this but i dont want a extremly unreliable bike that breaks down 24/7. does any one have some info on this situation please as im confused as to whether the 05 was a bad bike or not
