KX85 / YZ 85 forks

Does anyone know if the fork internals from a YZ85 for will fit a KX85?

The KX doesn't have rebound adjustment whereas the YZ does. I've had it suggested to me that the forks are similar
( apart from maybe the axel fitting ) and might be interchangable but my local shop can't/won't help.

Anybody got ideas or suggestions apart from expensive aftermarket fork kits ?

What are you looking to do ?

I want to be able to adjust the rebound as you would on most other forks by using the clicker on the top. The only way at the moment is start palying about with the oil.
