How do the M1 pants compare to the XCR's? Do you get what you pay for, with the extra price of the XCR?
How about the jerseys?

I remember hearing that Sinisalo made Moose's XCR line.. If so, do they also make the M1 line?

How do the sizes run?

I have the 2001 and the 2002 XCR pants and jersey. Pants have a very roomy knee(in case you wear knee braces), the waist may be just a smidge small, but I think that's because I refuse to accept that I'm not still wearing a 32 ! Very good quality, excellent durability, and the 4 stroke guys like 'em because the inside of the knee doesn't melt...
The 2002 jersey is MUCH better than the 2001, IMO. The '01 was shiny stuff that looked good to begin with, but attracts every burr, sticker and such that made it look trashed after minimal use. The '02 is a very nice, and so far very durable fabric, with way better graphics, too. I don't think you can go wrong with Moose stuff, my experience with it has been generally better than average!
