I just sold my 89 kx and bought a 2002 cr250, i rode it when i bought it and it has good power delivery and is good and everything. BUT, i took it home and took off the header to check the rings by shining a light in the exhaust hole, and the rings seem fine, but the piston has a brownish tan burn mark on the side of it. It is not a hole or anything, but i was wondering if it was an immediate problem from being too lean or if i need a new top end.
