NEW to the forum... NEED help

Hey guys, im new to the forum. Im gettin ready for the season and i just put on a Big Gun race series full system on my 2003 YZ250F. Everythings mounted and seems to be alright, but the silencer sits inside the right number plate a few inches and i think that when landing the tire might come up and smash the silencer...Any one had a similar problem or offer and advice? Thanks

tie downs?

dont have any experience here, but i think ive got an idea to check if it will hit, take a tie down or two and ratchet them down until your suspension is just about bottumed out, see how much room there is from there. not sure if a full out bottum out would be bad for the suspension so dont do that. sorry i couldnt be more helpful
