one last Gas Gas 300 question I promise

The lower bolt for the kickstand fell out already. Is there supposed to be a chain roller down there on that bolt. It fell out within the first 5 miles.

Yes, there is a roller that goes there. I picked up a new XC this week so I'd better check that one also. Some of the other bolts I've checked so far were either too loose or over-torqued.

Thanks for the info, I now see that Gas Gas needs help in the chain roller department, I am putting some real rollers to replace the bolt with a plastic
sleeve.

Some of the things on a GasGas that look crude are actually there by design, and work very well, like the chain rollers. Mine are 2 years old, and still good. No bearings to seize, and the play allows them to spin when full of mud. Ride the bike, you'll be amazed at what doesn't break.
