I've got a couple of questions about gear.
I'm getting back into riding after a lengthy hiatus, my last bike was an '82 YZ80 that I owned back in the mid 80's! I have ridden a YZF250 a little and loved it and I definitely want to get back into motos.
I have an O'Neal catalogue sitting in front of me here. I don't see a lot of it in shops, mostly always its Fox and Thor. I know both Fox and Thor are nice looking, well made, and functional stuff from what I can tell, but some of the O'Neal stuff seems to be pretty good. Am I missing something?
Also, I'd like to start out on a 250 four stroke, be it a CRF-X or a WR, even a KLX300. I'll use it mostly for trails, some hills, and maybe the track once I get the 'feel' back. I can ride straight from my house and I do have neighbours, so I'd rather not get into a 2 stroke right now.
I'll probably buy a used bike to start, but one that's only a season or two old. What should I be on the look out for?
