Wexford County, meanwhile, will hold a public hearing to consider its ORV ordinance at 6 p.m. on Oct. 22 at the Wexford County Civic Center auditorium.

I will be there - Craig

Montmorency County is getting close. Right now it seems they are hung up on the wording regarding if 4323 allows the use of shoulders, or not. Some are saying they want they bikes on the edge of the pavement on paved roads - that way the shoulder does not get tore up - but there is an acknowledgement of safety concerns there. Some say no way should they be on the pavement - shoulder only. I spoke with some of the comissioners to discuss the fact that some local paved roads have NO shoulder what so ever between pavement and ditch. Setting that issue aside, so far it appears pretty good chance very few roads in the county will be closed. In todays newspaper was mention of a possible local permit (with fee).
