Did Red Bull KTM let Ping go??? Does anyone know? I saw on recerXill that he was testing for PLano Honda...Article said " the former Red Bull/KTM rider"!!! Is this old news and I been asleep or what?

Ping had a one-off ride at Glen Helen, and KTM didn't re-up after his less-than-spectacular showing there. He's always been a SX specialist anyway.

I'd hate to see him fade away.

Ping signed a SX only deal with KTM for this years supercross season because he said he really didn't enjoy the nationals that much and was going to look into some other options for the summer. Looks like once the summer rolled around racing outdoors didn't seem to bad to Ping. According to Shawn Norfolk of Renthal, as of this morning, Pingree is now a member of Team Plano Honda for the rest of the Nationals. Good luck Ping and good luck to Plano Honda, they've had a tough year with injuries.
