My son's PW80 was running very poorly- no low speed or idle.
Not really knowing what I was doing I pulled the gas tank, cleaned it (found reddish brown junky goopy stuff) and then removed carb and cleaned it too. Runs much better now but still won't idle...gonna get the carb off again and clean it out some more.
There's a tube attached to the carb (not the drain tube...another one) that goes nowhere...what is it? Vacuum or something? It was not connected to anything when I removed the carb. I wonder if this might be part of the reason it doesn't run well.
Ideas? Thoughts? Ridicule?
