Secret Gas Gas society?

Is there a secret Gas Gas society that you have to be a member of in order to buy one of their bikes?I visited Dirt Bike supply in Hoover today and inquired about a Gas Gas 200 ,02 model, and I was told that they have not recieved any 02' bikes so far. I have heard now that KDXfile picked up his 200 last thursday. I did'nt even ask for credit so what is the deal?
