Something wrong with bike

Hi, I have an 1994 rm125 and Once i was riding and the engine just shut off. I later tried to kick it over and the kickstarter was stuck. What does this mean? And now the kick starter is stuck in a neutral position.

maybe your engine siezed. thats what it sounds like if your kickstarter is stuck.

my diagnosis would be a seized piston

First theing i would check is too see if the piston seized..I just fixed a kx125 that did the same thing.. Turns out the kick-start gear seized up on the shaft.. I would reccomend getting a shop manual for that job..

how difficult is it to rebuild?
I'm not really mechanically inclinded but with a manual or something I should be okay. I was just thinking just taking to a shop but how much am I looking to be spending? Thanks.
