Hi there,
I'm new to this dirt bike thing and just bought a 2001 Yam wr250
I'm having some problems starting the bike. I only had it running once and when it runs it's solid, but I can't get the thing running easily.
What happens is I get the kick lever to TDC so there is compression throughout the kick but it won't fire. I kick it over 5 times and i start to get fuel coming out of the overflow and the engine is probably flooded so it won't start. Is the float on the Carb stuck, causing too much fuel to go into the cylinder?
I'm a total rookie at this so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

if your getting fuel out the overflow it definetly is flooded, when that happens hold the throttle wide open (don't pump it) just hold it and kick 5 or 6 times then let go of the throttle and try to start it, if this doesnt work trade it off for a Honda haha just kidding that should be a great bike to ride.
