Where do you get your custom avatars?

i just became a subscriber, and ive noticed that everyone seems to have created their own avatar. seeing as how i subsribed 5 min. ago, im not fully aware of all that i can do. can anyone tell where and/or how you do it?

i figured as much, but where or how do you make them? do you use a Microsoft Office product? im pretty good with computers, but have little experience with avatars :) .

get ANY photo editing software (paint, photoshop etc etc.)

start with a canvas of 75 by 75 pixels

make your avatar

make sure its under 75x75 pixels and 5.00 kb

UPLOAD.

it's really that easy.

If you want a good one (photo editor) for cheap, find and download the Gimp. It's almost as good as Photoshop.

I pulled out the 14 dollars to become a subscriber to. I searched avatars on google and shrunk a pucture.

Download a free trial of Photoshop CS2 and mess around with it. It'll take some time getting used to it but once you know how to use it you can make some really cool stuff.

Here's a question:

I am interested in becoing a subscriber, but my friend told me his account was deleted for posting something that was maybe untasteful. Does the statute of limitations grow once you become a subscriber, considering you pay for this service, or can your account just as easily be put to rest?

I only ask because I am new here and I don't exactly know the ropes.

Your friend likely played down whatever it was that got him deleted. They don't shut people down for some stupid little thing, they just deleted the post. The people that lose there accounts are habitual offenders 95% of the time.
