it's a 1976 kawasaki ke 175.

whenever I try to get parts from the dealer, they come up as "discontenued".

but the online sites, like bikebandit, still have parts in stock.
I'm curious about the top end, and getting parts.

bike bandit seems a bit steep.

I cant find any wiseco parts for this bike, or other bikes with the same engine.

a salvage yard an hour and a half has NOS top ends and gasket kits sitting on their shelves, so over spring break in two weeks, I may get one.

Hmm.
You know, that "hated by the administrators" online auction site. Thats the best bet, although you have to wait sometimes til you see one come up.

bikebandit is steep on some things. sometimes a good bet. they wanted $28.95 for a jet needle I got elsewhere for $5.75.

Find a dealer that's been around for a while. Sometimes, they will still have it in stock and cut you a deal. Also, if it's on Bike Bandit, these parts can also be found at the dealer because that's where Bike Bandit sources their parts from. Sometimes, Bike Bandit will be cheaper and other times, the dealer will beat Bike Bandit. It pays to shop.

ok, ordered from bikebandit! If it is on their list thingy, it means Kawasaki has it, right?

because I see 1-2 discontinued items.

not ones that I bought, through. the ones I bought did not say "discontinued".
