I had an 80 KTM 250, then a 84 KTM 250, then an 85 MStar 500, but they're long buried memories that get better with age.

Hey, I got a 83 Maico 490 in the garage too. But it's not running, well actually it runs but the tranny is making small bits of metal out of big ones.

A few Pursangs; a Trials Alpina; a '72 DKW; an '83 CR250 & XR350; and an '84 XR200R...all raced & used to play on.

My modern bike sits because it just isn't as fun.

I still ride my 88 Husky 125 quite a bit. Original owner. Quite familiar with its handling and power characteristics after all these years. I see that the MO vintage series may have an evolution class that I'd be able to ride that in. Its disc front, drum rear but has a powervalve. Would that rule it out? I'd like to try one of those on the 125.

I have an '89 KX500. I've done an enduro and a HS on it. She's a handful, for sure. Basically the same bike they made until 2005. I don't think I could ever part with it. Reminds me of a Hemi Mopar. Awesome, over powered ride and they don't make them anymore.

I have raced a couple of harescrambles on my 79 IT175 and came 5th or so overall.
One of the coolest bikes Ive ever owned, and I've owned a bunch.
I'm picking up my '80 Yz250 that I sold in the next few weeks. I cannot wait to ride it again!

82 rm 125, I second the soft seat. Its like a big ol matress. And the bikes indestructible. I swear the pipes half an inch thick, its impossible to dent. And the motor doesnt quit and starts second kick all the time.

80s? Had an 83 XL200...was a great fun bike. A little tractor that pulled my heavy self around just fine.

sold it a couple of years ago.

Everything I have now is a little older....
'72 Kaw 350 that I race, '75 Kaw 400 (building it this winter) and a '75 Yamaha 400 that I lent to my Brother so he can race with me this coming season.

I love my old bikes have three old yamahas, a 71 ct1 and 70 dt1 both with lots of old performance parts and mods. I recently acquired a restored 72 mx 360, I think the former owner was scared of it I know I am. I also have a 74 CZ 250 that is finally done for the 2nd time, what a great bike easy to ride does every thing good and almost unbreakable.

Right now, I only have a '76 elsinore 250 so it is what I ride, every time I can. Love the seat and smooth powerband. Hate the suspension, but it's 100 stock except for the piston and handlebars, so I'm not about to start changing things.

I have a '71 AJS Stormer which I get out on every other weekend or so in the summer. It's a blast on smoother two-tracks, and in sand.

You're good to go for the "disco" class. Keep an eye on the MOVMX discussion forum for updates on upcoming events as the weather is just barely starting to turn. Its a very small turnout, very casual events, but I'm not saying guys aren't riding fast though!!
