why only one option????

whats up i have a question on a front and rear sprocket i was going to order. i have a old 1990 honda cr250r and the stock gearing is 14/51. i am ordering from a catolog and in there it only has an option for 13-45. what will this gearing give me compared to 14/51? thank you for your help

Rear available for that bike is 42-53 tooth.
Front available is 12-16 tooth.

Pick another vendor.

btw...14/51 is 3.64:1 ratio
13/45 is 3.46:1 ratio

I would suggest that if you change ratio, you go the other way. I find that 4:1 is a fairly good all-around ratio for a 125. ( 13/52 )

thanks guys but this is for a 250 not a 125

someone will probably disagree with me but i find on a 250 with a 18" rear then 14/50 is a good all round ratio for speed and take-off.
