Will 2000 CR250 pipe fit on 2001 CR250?

I am in a bind for a race this weekend. I mangled my pipe on my 2001 CR250 the last time out and haven't fixed it yet because I thought my CRF450R would be here by now. The CRF has been delayed from the warehouse mine is coming from and may not get here in time. I have access to a 2000 CR250 pipe, will it fit? The part numbers are different from Honda and from aftermarket companies.

honda's part number's are the same I thought, And ALL FMF pipes are labled 2000-01 and Pc are 2000 specific??m Oh well

It will fit but dont expect it to run the same. It is a different pipe.

From what I understand, using an aftermarket pipe for an '00 may take away from or do no better than the stock '01 pipe. The motor parts may be interchangeable but port timing or other factors that dictate the motors performance are different. If you want to improve the performance of the '01 buy a pipe designed for the '01.
