yz250f crank compatable with the rmz/kx250f crank?

does anyone know if the yz250f crank is compatable with the rmz/kxf crank. they look simular, and they share the same cam chain for sure. I would'nt be surprised if the KXf copied the yam Crank.

Thank ya Rich. I was pretty sure you'd answer me. I'm putting a 01 YZ250F together right now. I found the cam chain to be the same, and only had pictures to compare the crankshafts with. I spose it was just wishfull thinking, KXF parts are cheaper.

Maybe those parts are cheaper because they are JUNK. ;)

There is a reason the Yamaha 250F engine is so much more reliable than the RMZ/KXF engine.
