02 cr80 questions

So i just bought a used cr80. It has the usual exhaust manifold leak. So I took the stock pipe of to clean it and get all that gunk off and about 4 oz. of oil was in the pipe. The guy a bought it from said to run 50;1 premix with amsoil 2 stroke sythetic oil . This bike is mostly a trail bike, so do you think the 50:1 mix is to harsh since im not getting past 3/4 throttle that often or do you think i should just re jett. Or rejett and move down to 32:1 with honda oil.
