anyone having trouble starting their 450sx when hot? any tips would be very helpful. also bike did overheat during the last ride,someone suggested maybe jetting is too lean,anyone else having this problem?

Have you set the valves?

There have been some reports of valve problems on these bikes as well.

Mine definely wants to be kicked hard when stalled. If I do it right and use the hot start (DrD remote) it starts right up. I'm short and If I'm on the wrong type of slope or don't give it a good hard kick thru the stroke it can take several kicks. Only had the bike for 3 rides though and I'm getting better at it. I'm in Central Florida and it was 90 degrees Sunday with no overheating problems yet but the dealer who rebuilt the engine on warranty (dropped a valve on the previous owner) put Engine Ice in the system.
