'04 KTM rumors?

Anybody have the skinny on any changes for the '04 KTM's?

Can anybody clue 'us' in? I am dying to get an '04. That is if I get my wishes on upgrades to the EXC or SX (450).

Well, I heard they were going to be orange in 04. Other than that KTM has been pretty tight lipped about them. They may come wiht the 03 SX style rear plastic that is all one piece too.

rumors here in mn say 04 KTM's will have rear suspension linkage!

I heard the linkage rumor as well, but a look at the Euro MX KTM's being run right now indicate probably not. Personally I hope they don't. The non-linkage is a lot easier to maintain.

I did hear about a bladder shock though.

I'll take a stab at my predictions:
1. Orange and black is still in
2. No change on the front ends
3. Bladder shocks, non-linkage
4. The 250 EX/C will get the SX motor and frame
5. The 250 4 stroke will be the DOHC model being raced in Europe right now
6. The rear brake will be reservoir-less (a step back in my opinion)

Just tell me that the exc will be 20 lbs. lighter, or the SX has a 6 speed - please!

The one rumor I heard was that for '04 the rear shocks will come standard with straight-rate springs as opposed to the PDS progressives now.

Thats the result of Rick Johnson talking out of his butt on Speed while he was comentating the Daytona Supercross....

Im hoping for a 540SX with a 6-speed. Maybe another Berg if KTM does not deliver. Even a new CRF with one of those 500cc kits is apealing. I mean come on the 525 is really only 509cc's.........

Are they gonna release the KTM 250sx 4 stroke that year or what?
