06 yz250f and 06 wr250f part interchangeability?

i got a 06 yz250f in november nd was wondering if it was possible to put lights from a wr on it. i know that the stator is far to weak to power the lights nd was wondering if taht was upgradeable to say a 55w one?

You'll need a stator that has two coils, one for ignition and one for lights. I believe that you can get one with a 55W output on the lighting coil. As far as the WR and YZ coil interchangeablility, I would thing that it would but you will likely need the cover and the flywheel as well. I could be totally wrong but check into some of the after market stators and see if they show the same part #'s for the YZ and WR.
