I would check with the KTM dealer and/or a manual.
I would have expected the clutch to use the same fluid as the brake. I know the brake master/slave cylinders are sensitive to the fluid and if you put stuff in that causes the rubber seals/o-rings to swell, shrink or otherwise deform you will not be happy with the results.
i dont know if it is different with the 01 (and there is a very good chance that it is) but on my 08 200 (which has the same clutch as the 08 125 or at least the manual calls for the same things) it needs a mineral oil. on the 250/300 it uses brake fluid.
Really though get a manual specific for your bike!
