Brought my 2004 250 EXC home tonight, she's a sweet puppy. I'll be logging serious miles on it this weekend. A totally new motor for 04, new carb, new shock, rad valve std equipment and the new and questionable rear brake system. Looks likes lots of 250 SX contributions made it to the 250 EXC this year. I can tell the bike is lighter than my 2003 too. I never thought 7 pounds made much differencte but I can feel it when I push it around.

Nope. I buy my bikes from Lansing Cycle which is also "attached" to Enduro Engineering. So while the bike is new they spring the forks for my weight and revalve them. For what it costs having the bike set up for you from the get go makes sense, especially when it's right there. My shock is stock.
