Hey, I have a 200 KDX and have a problem with oil leaking out the vent tube from the gear case. It seems like there is pressure building up in the gear case and oil is being forced out. Anyone?
Have you been laying the bike down when you "park" it? A little oil out of the overflow is normal.
Just be glad the previous owner of your bike wasn't running what looked like suspension oil in your tranny... My oil was thinner than 10W40 when I first changed it.
Thanks for the reply, no I don't lay the bike down and use 10w40 yamalube in the gear case. I was thinking maybe something was causing the gear case to be "pressurized". Maybe a seal on the crank getting bad?? Don't know. Any ideas would be great, Thanks.
