Glenn,
Is that purse for the overall winners in the Pro class? What about the novice riders; do they get any cash payout? I'll be riding in the over 40 novice (B) class if I can get some riders together.

I was talking with Glenn H, the promoter, at a race a couple of months ago, and I think he said that they were hoping for 20 teams to sign up for this the first year.

Glenn,

If you have to go to the impound bike (#2) at some point in the race can you use bike #1 for parts?

I'll be there. Six of us are racing two 2002 400exc's. It will be fun, but the bikes will be tested, thats for sure. I heard that the money can only be won if the race is completed on the main bike without using the backup. I am sure glad they are not my bikes. I am a B class guy and the rest are A class riders. I guess I will need to step up to the plate for this one!!!!

GasGas Smoker

Be on the look out for a team riding a Cannondale. Local legend and clutch rebuilder extraordinare, CHAD EARL, will be heading up this team. Riding a dealer sponsored/contributed bike, EARL should be in his finest form. The Cannondale will be put to the test. It might be a good idea to bring a few extra clutch plates, EARL has been known to go through a couple!
Hmmm! GasGasSmoker, you sound familiar. Your not the blonde kid who rides the KTM 200, and sometimes KTM 125, that shares the same birthday with James "BUBBA" Stewart, are you????? If so, who are you riding with? Also, if you are who I think you are, did I have Austin covered or what???????? The C class had better be glad that the 612 went down! I think this was his year! ha!ha!
I'll see you this coming weekend at Perry Mountain.
Good luck at Loretta Lynns!

Are you riding or working this weekend? I heard about Loretta Lynns. Sounds like you had a pretty good ride. I heard the harescramble at Perry Mountain might have a little tight stuff for the first 3-4 miles? Sounds like fun!
