I have an 01 MXC and am looking at new bike.I can't make up my mind between 03-250sx and a 03 300mxc.I love my 01-250mxc but they don't make them anymore so I am deciding wether to get sx and flywheel wt,susp.mods etc. or 03 300mxc I just want to make sure the 300 isn't to much.

The 250 SX is a handful! The bike is WAAAY beyond responsive. It actually feels more like a light 380. The 300 can be jetted to be very tame. Try to ride each if there is any way you can. What about the '03-250exc? I have a buddy who just bought one. I have not ridden that yet, but he really likes it. He came off of an '02 520.

I rode an 03 250 exc this weekend and have owned 3 exc's.I rode and 03 sx 250 and I liked it I would have to flyweel,susp, etc but I like the lightweight, quick turning and the close ratio.I would love the 300mxc if it had the same power as the 250 and no more vibration.
