99 RM125 Bogging down at low speed.

Just got this RM125 and it bogs down at low RPM. Have to
shift to lower gear then its OK. Or in low gear and twist throttle wide open it will bog, need to slip clutch in this situation to get it going. Doesn't like to pull out of low speed acceleration in a higher gear. My older
RM has no problem. You think the mixture is too rich?
Any ideas. THanks.

After checking to make sure everything is mechanically sound, I would suspect rich jetting. The '99 notoriously had very rich pilot jetting. I can't quite remember what the stock pilot was, I think about a 55, but I had gone down into the low 40's before mine would run cleanly. I also ran the one step leaner needle. My jetting was based on 60-80 deg. relatively dry weather, at sea level to 1000ft.
