best mid pipe for '88 xr250

i have a 1988 xr250 and i was wondering if anyone knew of a good pipe that would increase the bottom a little increase the middle a lot and add a little to the top. I basically want to give it more power everywhere but more to the mid. I was currently looking a xrsonly, white brothers e-series, or the fmf mega max. Also is the xrsonly complete system (pipe and headers) any good?

I'm particulary fond of the XR's Only megaphone with a trapp. or the White Bros. E-series. I consider them to be a little better peformers and in fit and quality.

I would not use a oversize header for normal riding, unless you were doing other mods, and looking for top-end. The oem header works very good all-around and especially low-mid.

Given your goals, you might consider keeping your stock pipe and putting a bigger piston in there. The higher compression and extra displacement will get you the extra low and midrange power.
